The Sherwood Forresters Longbow Archery Club Forum

Hi All

We have our first booking of the season. A party of 12 adults Saturday 6th March. Shooting will start at 11am, lunch at the Rose and Crown at 1pm, followed by more shooting in the afternoon. Anyone who can commit to helping please let me know. We will need to setup at 10 am so I need people there by 10.

My travels have begun in earnest this year.

Currently in the middle of the Irish Sea on way back to Blightly.

I am working late Friday night but hope to be able to rouse myself early enough to get to the field by 10am Staurday to assist with the 'Have a go' Saturday 6th.

I am really looking forward to seeing you all again.

We will be reaaly pleased to see you too. There will be plenty of time for Sherwood Forresters to shoot alongside the have-a-goers. We will meet at 10.30 to sort the field out.

Should be there for 1045 ish Saturday, will have to bring little C as Caroles working, as was I last Sat:-),
errr, do we need the deer for sat? if so, let me know,dont want to seem too fearal to any new comers,I have spoken to a fellow from church who has expressed an interest,he knows were we meet (kids at the school)so he may turnup one saturday soon.

Well, what a brill day we have had, a big thanks to all the sfers who turned up to help, Simon and Anna loved the have-a-go and I feel sure they will be visiting again.Maybe see you Sunday 7th for Clout and field.

What a wonderful day we've had today It was so good to see so many archers willing to give up their time to help (9 of us in all), which makes all the difference when we had so many wonderful have a goers.
We really enjoyed the time spent making Anna's birthday treat a special day. On behalf of all the Archers we wish Anna a very Happy 30th Birthday. Have a great day Anna.
